The North Pole
Grandma and Grandpa took Alina to the North Pole for her birthday. The girls had a great time. They got to go on all the rides, watch a magic show, see Santa and go on a train. I was really surprised by how fearless the girls were when it came to some of the rides. I went on one ride with Alina and closed my eyes the whole time, Alina laughed the whole time. I made Ky take them on all of the rest of the rides.

Soccer Game
The girls both had their first soccer game today. Alina's was first, and was so funny to watch. The kids did not care who was on their team or who had the ball, all they new was that they wanted to get the ball and make a goal. Alina was head butted within the first ten minutes of the game, and because she was the smallest kid out there, was run over almost every play. She did well though, and with a little more aggression will be a great soccer player. McKayla was put on defense for the first half of the game and well, you know those movies that show the really girly girl playing sports and she refuses to do anything, well that was McKayla. She was put on offense for the second half of the game and improved considerably. She even made contact with the ball several times. Overall they both did great and were worn out by the end of the day.

Cowboy Song
Alina has been learning cowboy songs at preschool and when she got home today she sang us her newest cowboy song, but altered it because apparently Ky and I do not know a thing about cowboys. Cows live on the range and cowboys live in the west, under no circumstances can a cowboy live on the range, thus the song "Home, Home on the Range" is completely inaccurate. This is not the best version she sang, but because I did not have the camera ready when she stared singing this is what you get.
