miss-match day

This week is spirit week at McKayla's school, so everyday there has been a different theme. Today was miss-match day and McKayla was very excited. Doesn't she look wonderful:)

McKayla loves anything that has to do with science, so with her birthday money she picked out this volcano kit. She got to make her own volcano then erupt it. Sadly we could not get the thing to erupt, the instructions were a little vague. It called for soda club, so if you know what this is please let me know. (It is not 7-up or baking soda and water, we tried.)

How does it look?

"How does it look?" is a questions asked by McKayla almost daily with regards to hair. So, what do we do? We take a picture and let her see. So much better then looking in a small mirror. (don't mind my grungy running clothes)

Valentines Day

The girls were very excited to get a rose from daddy on Valentines day.

New Cousin

The girls got to go see their new cousin Lilyana yesterday. They were so excited to hold her.

The kids got their faces painted, all three girls got a swan and Hyrum got a flaming football.

My children learned all about tape worms and hair balls while at the wild life experience.

Wild Animals

It was not expected, but while we were at the Wild Life Experience we saw some very wild animals, here are just a few.

Wild Life Experience

We went to the Wild Life Experience yesterday with my nephew Hyrum and friend Madelyn and the kids had a blast. They built a dam, caused an avalanche, saw an I-max movie and went to the grossology exhibit.

There is an exhibit at the Wild Life Experience that is called Grossology, and my kids love it. This is a picture of my kids looking at different animal feces, and then they have to guess what animal it belongs to, thus the name grossology.
