Our new place

So, please do not pay any attention to McKalya's unmade bed, our broken couch and many other messes. This is our new place and is almost put together. There are still a few messes, as you can see, but we are excited to be here with all of our stuff.

Sprinklers

The girls decided to play in the sprinklers, but apparently they were too cold. They did not get much closer than this.

Grandpa took the girls for a ride on the tandem bicycle. Alina could barely reach the handle bars, but both girls thought their ride around the block was great.

Swimming

The girls went swimming for the first time this year at Aunt Leslie's pool. It wasn't too warm outside, but the pool was heated. I think they would have had a great time even if the water was freezing. McKayla did a great job picking the whole swimming thing up. Alina was a bit more cautious, but still had a great time.

Recipe of the Week

Chicken Satay

1 pkg onion soup mix
1/4 c olive oil
2 Tbs brown sugar
2 Tbs Peanut butter
1 lb Boneless skinless chicken breast, pounded and cut into strips

In lg zip lock bag combine first 4 ingredients. Mix
Add chicken and toss to coat, marinate 30 minutes
Thread chicken onto wooden skewers
Grill 8 minutes, or until chicken is done.
