Color Run

The girls and I did a color run on the 4th of July.

This is my mother of the year moment.  Alina had pneumonia and I made her run a 5k.

Uzuncibirc

We went to see the ruins at Uzuncibirc.

The girls love climbing on the ruins, but these were a bit too high for McKayla.

However, she made it.

Alina climbed into a sarcophagus, she wanted to lay down in it, but there was glass on the bottom.

I tried to get into the arch, but it had a big crack in it and I was afraid it would break.

We stopped at a restaurant on our way back home.  It was beautiful.

McKayla had shrimp and we all had red snapper, which was so fresh and yummy.

The girls played on the rocks next to the water and found a crab.

The Beach

We love to go to the beach.  Alina will spend hours in the water and then eat the whole drive home.

I love to sit in the shade and relax.

The kids love to bury themselves in the sand.

Ruins

On our way to the beach we stopped at these ruins right off the road.  We climbed down these steep stairs with a drop off on one side.

We ended up in this big room with a skull, or so Alina thought.

The girls loved exploring and found several empty tombs.

Open Mike Night

Mckayla has played her guitar at open mike night several times now and loves it.  She is a little performer.
