After everyone had left on Easter Uncle Ben made the girls get their pajamas on, brush their teeth and pick out a book, which he read to them. Very Cute! It's no wonder that their favorite uncle is Uncle Ben.

Aspiring Veterinarian

So, if any of you are unaware, all hands are spiders and all legs and feet are horses. (See you learn something new everyday) Alina got a doctor kit for Christmas and loves to play veterinarian. She is rather ruff and mentions needles a lot, but its okay, because she is very good at making you think that the needles are fuzz (yes I said fuzz.) She is so serious about her work and very firm with the animals when they do not cooperate. It is very cute to watch.

The girls went to a Pirates birthday party and got pirate eye patches in their goody bag, they thought they were great and wore them around the rest of the day.

Easter

So, the Easter bunny is really nice at our house and our girls scored. They had a great time playing with cousins and finding Easter eggs full of money. In case you are wondering about the strange pictures where all the kids are wearing blind folds, that was our Easter lesson, how, you ask did this teach the kids about Easter? We blind folded all the kids to represent the total darkness that the Nephites encountered after Christ was crucified, and they are on their hands and knees gathering their "family members," also known as candy and easter toys.

Easter Eggs

The girls had a blast decorating Easter eggs. Alina got adventurous and put her eggs in several different colors while McKayla was more conservative and only did one color per egg, but she was impressed with Alina's creativity.

McKayla's hair cut

So, the time has finally come to chop McKayla's hair. It was a sad day for Ky, but I was overjoyed at the prospect of not having to spend so much time ripping through McKayla's hair each and every morning to get the tangles out. I don't think that McKayla really cared either way what was done with her hair and was great while the lady did it. I think that it turned out really cute, and I must say that it looks much better after I did it than in these pictures.

McKayla wrote Mom and Dad with only a little help. She wrote mom then asked Ky what letter came after D in dad, she did everything else without any help. I had no idea she knew how to write mom and I am positive that she did not learn it in pre-school, most of the kids their don't know anything about letters.

Alina got some kind of red punch at Pre-school and had a mustache for the next day.

All Tired Out

McKayla was supposed to be going to bed, but because Ky wasn't home she was having a hard time (she has a hard time every night, this just happened to be the first excuse she thought of) I went down stairs to watch TV and when Ky got home McKayla was asleep in the hall.
