Swimming lessons

The girls started swimming lessons this week, here are a few pictures from their first lesson.

More birthday

Here are a few more pictures from Mckayla's birthday. She got this How To Be A Princess book from Ky's mom and both her and Alina love it. Also, if you have a girl you need to get this fairy garden. Madelyn gave it to her and she loves it. She got to paint all of the pieces and plant the seeds. Mckayla was a great sport when it came to opening presents and she let everyone help.

Red Robin

At McKayla's request we went to Red Robin to celebrate her birthday. She loved them singing happy birthday and the ice cream sunday she got. As you can see, Alina ate more than her fill, her poor little gut hug out of her pants for the next several hours.

Happy Birthday

It is finally here! Mckayla is 6 years old. She had a really hard time going to sleep last night because she was so excited. She opened a few presents and is saving the others for later (this was not her idea, and one she does not agree with)

A Birthday Surprise!!!

McKayla lost her third tooth today and was so excited. She jumped around yelling "I lost a tooth on my birthday" over and over again.

Can't wait!

Mckayla: Mom, do you know what the day before your birthday is?
Me: No, what?
Mckayla: It's your birthday eve. Do you know what you get to do on your birthday eve?
Me: No, What?
Mckayla: You get to open one present.

Later that night...
McKayla: Dad, do you know what I get to do on the night before me birthday?
Ky: What?
Mckayla: I get to guess what each one of my presents is, and if i get it right I get to open it.

This child has had a difficult time waiting for her birthday. Good thing there is just one more day.

The girls learned this new trick tonight and thought it was great. They asked Ky to do it with them over and over again.
