Guitar recital

McKayla had her first guitar recital tonight and did a great job. She played and sang two songs and got an award for most animated and best voice. She was the youngest and the only girl there, which she thought was pretty cool.

The basement is almost finished. They just have a few little things left to do.

Hair cut

McKayla got her hair cut this week after months of begging. She was so excited that they washed her hair and talked about it the whole way home. Please note that she has been at school all day and her hair is a mess

Update

Here is what has happened so far with the remodel. They have torn down the wall and re-framed, changed the lighting and run a bunch of other stuff. Tomorrow they will drywall and then next week they will paint. Can't wait until it is done.

New TV room

So, this obviously is not our remodeled TV room, but our temporary one. Moved all of our stuff out of the family room and had to shove it (literally) into the guest bedroom. Nice a cozy.

remodeling

We are remodeling part of our basement. Here are the before pictures, hopefully in less than two weeks I will have some after pictures to post. Will be so nice once it's done.

Baptism

Can't figure out how to get pictures from her baptism off my e-mail, so these will have to do for now. She got new scriptures and Ky's mom made her a super cute scripture bag.

New shelf

My awesome husband built this shelf for Alina's room, turned out so good.

Happy 8th birthday McKayla

Can't believe that she is 8. Went out to eat at Salt Grass for steak, then had a heart shaped red velvet cake.

Christmas Ornaments

Did our annual painting Christmas Ornaments with the Wiedrich's. Kids had a great time painting. It is fun to see how they get better each year.

Polar Express Party

All the first grade classes did a Polar Express Party. They got their pictures taken with a train conductor, did all sorts of crafts and even got a bell from Santa's sleigh, it was still cold. Lots of fun.
