Alina: "When I get big I am going to marry a man."
Ky: "Who are you going to marry?"
Alina: "A man just like you."

Alina: "The man is invisible."
McKayla: "Sis, there's no such thing as invisible."
Alina: "He lives in a different land."
McKayla: "Sis, a different land is still on the earth and there is no such thing as invisible on the earth. If he was invisible he would be on Mercury, and that planet is the closest to the sun so he would be dead. If he wasn't on Mercury he would be on Venus, which has volcanoes all over it so he would be covered in lava and dead!"
Apparently this settled it because Alina had nothing else to say on the matter.

Easter egg hunt

The kids had a blast hunting for eggs (in the house because we got 6 inches of snow) and got a lot of great treats and toys. As soon as they were all done they sat at the table and opened all of their eggs to see what was inside.

oh baby!

The girls just can't get enough of their new cousin Lillyana. They hovered over the car seat for the first hour she was at our house waiting for her to wake up, and as soon as she made a peep they were asking to hold her. They sang plenty of songs to her including "living on a prayer" and "connected" (from Barbi diamond castle), even Madelyn and Jackson couldn't get enough of her and joined in the singing.

The kids love to climb onto my brother and have him do push ups while all three of them are on his back. Poor guy gets his work out for the whole week when he is at our house.

Marks

Alina judges how well she played soccer by the marks that are on her legs when she takes her socks and shin guards off. According to the marks today she did super-de-uper good. Apparently the marks are correct because today was her first game and she scored three goals, which was all of them for her team.

More house

I've had requests for more pictures of our new house, so here they are. One is the pantry, kitchen cupboards and the backyard (which looks beautiful in the summer)

another hair cut

I cut 6 more inches off Alina's hair today. I couldn't handle her screaming at the top of her lungs every morning when I did her hair, so it got cut. She was surprisingly okay about the whole thing. I hope this helps or there might be a post next week about me shaving her head.

Thanks for looking
