| The last time we visited Ky and I went up into the top of this fairy chimney. The girls were very offended that we did not let them go as well, so this time they got their chance. |

| Alina was happy because she got to run around and climb, McKayla was happy because she got to shop. |

| We took a trip to Cappadocia for Ky's birthday. As this was our third trip we tried to go places we had not been yet. This is Uchisar castle. |

| This sweet lady saw me taking a picture of Ky and the girls and insisted on taking a picture of the whole family. She couldn't figure out how to use the camera and ended up taking several pictures of herself because she had the camera pointer towards her. |

| We finally managed to communicate to her that she needed to turn the camera around. She cut off the top half of the castle, but we got a picture with the whole family which is rare. |

| We climbed several hundred stairs before we reached the top. |

| Part of our climb to the top was through the inside of the castle. The girls love to explore ever nook and cranny they see. |

| I can't believe this kid is 9 years old. She has been such a joy to have in our home. She is so happy and so much fun (sometimes too much fun!) |

| I've turned into the mean mom and told her I would only make her one birthday cake. She chose to have her cake at her birthday party a few days later, so got these instead, but there were no complaints, so I guess I'm not that mean after all. |

| Alina is starting 4th grade and has a male teacher for the first time. She is in a 4th/5th combination. |

| The girls and I did a color run on the 4th of July. |

| This is my mother of the year moment. Alina had pneumonia and I made her run a 5k. |
