Happy birthday McKayla

Today was McKayla's seventh birthday, I can't believe she it that old! We had a very laid back day since she had a party yesterday. She requested fettuccine Alfredo and Italian bread for dinner, then had left over cake from the party. She also got several things on Egypt including some coloring pages which she absolutely loved.

Mckayla's birthday party

McKayla had some friends over on Saturday to celebrate her birthday. They watched Nim's Island and ate pizza. Then had yummy white cake with strawberry moose. She got lots of great presents from her friends and had a blast.

Kids pics

These are a few of the pictures that the girls took with the camera.

One of "those days"

Have you ever had one of "those days," you know, the one were you want to crawl into bed and hope that when you open your eyes everything is undone? Well, that was today at our house. It started by them refusing to do anything. I think it took McKayla
1 1/2 hours to unload the dishwasher and practice her guitar. I asked Alina to go into her room and clean and she came out an hour later with it looking worse than when she went in. Then they proceeded to drop pizza on my carpet, spill two full cups of water on my coffee table, dump out and entire bottle of detangler, dump out a bucket of peanut butter pretzels (which thankfully was not full) and take about a hundred pictures with the camera. It is days like these that you can either crawl into bed and cry or laugh. I chose to crawl into bed and cry. These pictures should give you a little view into my day. Oh, and did I mention that they are home from school for the next three days :)

Random Christmas pictures

McKayla

McKayla was so excited to open presents. She got a new sleep mask, so now if we loose one she can still go to sleep. She got window crayons and paint and started using them before all of her gifts were open.

Alina

Alina was so fun to watch. She was so excited about everything she got to open. We heard lots of "I always wanted one of these" or "Whoa, whoa, whoa what is it?"

Thanks for looking
