Pirate day

This past week the kindergarten classes have been learning about pirates, so on Friday they got to dress up and go on a treasure hunt. Alina loved wearing her pirate stuff and wouldn't take the parrot (which was actually a peacock) off her shoulder until bedtime.

Happy Easter

So I sent Ky out to take picture while the kids hunted Easter eggs and this is what I got. But, seeming how I got to stay in the house and chat, I can't complain. oh ya, don't you just love the one where Alina's pants are half way down. At least he took the picture from the side instead of the back.

We had Ky's brother and his family in town for a few days. The girls loved paying with their cousins. We went to the focus on the family center to play. We also got 9 inches of snow, just to make driving interesting.

Zoo

This past week has been spring break, so we have been doing tons of fun things. We started off the week by going to the zoo, we had a great time and it was a beautiful day. We then went roller skating to make sure we were good and tired.

Aquarium

We went to the Denver Aquarium with my brother, his family and my sister. The girls had a great time.

The girls got to get their faces painted, watch a flash flood, feed and pet the rays and watch two 4-D movies.

hair cut

Alina got another hair cut, her hair just grows way too fast. We have been cutting off five or six inches every six months or so. It is so much easier to brush once it has been cut.

I finally got a new table with actual chairs to go with it. We also got a new dishwasher that I love. It is so quiet, and looks really good. I love the flat front.
